Lil’ Bush
I came across a preview of a Comedy Central cartoon about a little George Bush over at hotair.com . I’m extremely offended. I couldn’t even get past part of the clip. The portrayal of our nations leaders is something that I would expect from outside of our country, from an enemy state, NOT from an American network. Forget about free speech, what about respect. The lines that the title character spews are horrendously ignorant and down right dirty. If Comedy Central airs this as a series, I will boycot the network.

How the heck did this moron get elected? How does this moron continue to get elected. He never thinks before he speaks on camera and has seriously disrespected the soldiers serving in the military numerous times. This guy is the new chairman of the congressional Ways and Means committee. That means he’s extremely dangerous.
On a side note, Pelosi shut down his motion towards reinstating the draft (something he does every few years just to rile people up). She shut this motion down without even considering it. Shows just how much his own party shows Mr. Ways and Means Chairman. Shades of Lieberman.

I don’t know how he did it, but Glenn Beck managed to get a quite informative and fair-sided special on a dire issue that the media has all but ignored since 9/11 on CNN of all places. I hope that this special woke the “can’t we just get along” crowd up some. The answer to that is “No!” In his special, Glenn shows video clips of propaganda masquerading as tv movies and children’s shows aligned with the radical mindset. Glenn also spends time with quality guests that actually explain these videos and their impact both in their originating countries and locally. Glenn goes through great lengths through his guests and the majority of the last half of the program to point out that this are extremists and do not count for all Muslims. In fact, there are many Muslims that serve to protect the USA in our military and many clerics that denounced the crimes that have been committed. My own take, each group has their own set of extremists, ie. white supremacists, Castro revolutionists, and overall anarchists etc. If these groups do not go unchecked they can become a major problem, especially when they’re given nuclear means and the leadership of an entire country. CNN will probably broadcast this every few hours throughout the night, it’s worth seeing and getting your friends to sit down and watch too. I hope the media picks up on this and starts showing more of what’s really out there, and not just airing our own dirty laundry.
On an aside, does anyone feel embarrassed by our media and it’s constant bashing of our elected govt. officials? Why is it that actual journalists have become commentators instead of reporting, they analyze and tell us what to think. Do they think the general population is so stupid that they can’t think for themselves?

spinr.org and sites like it…
Past few weeks I came across a political site, spinr.org. According to it’s about page, it’s intent is to provide a place to “shed light” on “the media’s political agenda”. It’s “About Me” page states that you can submit articles, videos, blog posts, etc. and have other users vote the fairness and slant in order to determine the true spin. However, from what I’ve seen, it’s a failed attempt that that. It seems to have become your typical “Bush-bashing” anti-right hate site. You know the type, where liberal and democrats fecal mater has the smell of roses, while it points out every Republican flaw. Some of the latest article posts, you’ll find “Rush Tells His Audience ‘I’m Full of Crap’… Seriously!”, an article that just puts words into Rush’s mouth. The same treatment is given to “Bush Admits He Lied About Rumsfeld For Political Purposes” Again, putting words into the President’s mouth. While all along, making sure it’s well known that what Kerry said was an honest mistake that he shouldn’t have to apologize for.
I don’t see this site as a gauge to show the bias of media, I see it as at the very least a “if you can’t beat them, join them” site that augments much of the partisan media’s rants and raves against conservatives, republicans, or anyone who would have the audacity to support them. From what I’ve seen users that leave comments lean on the left wing. Right-wing values seem to get chewed up, so the few that did post have since left. The bottom line is you can’t count sheep in a pack of wolves, nor can you expect to get fair and balanced when only one view point is represented.

Does this question even have to be asked? At a recent press conference with Tony Snow, this is the very question asked. Rush recently made comments about Michael J. Fox and his campaign ads. Let me spell this out. Rush Limbaugh is NOT the leader of a political party. Rush Limbaugh did NOT run for POTUS in 04. Rush Limbaugh is NOT a senator in office. He’s a TALK SHOW HOST. It’s not rocket science here. This being said, Limbaugh did apologize. Kerry on the other hand, apologized with conditions. Maybe he even voted for his apology before he voted against it.

First Post
For a while now, I refused to post anything political online. However, this years election has compelled me. First, I want to say, what an idiot John Kerry is. Even if it may have been a botched joke (but I’m more inclined to say it was a Freudian slip), he should of handled it much much better. More so, I think Keith Olbermann should be taken off the air and then have his citizenship revoked. He’s a slug. I actually used to watch his top 5 show up until he after he fell on his head down a flight of stairs and started spewing his commentary garbage. Thankfully, we have freedom of speech in the US. However, I think he’s been abusing that freedom a little too much, at the expense of the soldiers who are out there trying to fight for our freedoms and the freedom for a lot of the rest of the world. Another SOB I wouldn’t mind resigning and getting deported to Antarctica is Charlie Rangle. I think the Democrats have really put their foots in their mouths right before the election.
